The Melody Takt (メロディタクト Merodi Takuto) is My Melody's takt used in order to beat Kuromi's nightmare magic in Onegai My Melody.
Like the Melody Key, it has different functions in every season. In Onegai My Melody ~Kuru Kuru Shuffle~ it was destroyed in the final battle until it was repaired by the Melody Box and upgraded into the Hyper Melody Takt.
Appearance[]
The Melody Takt is pink seashell-liked with a white thin baton that resembles a stick and a pink holder. It has several small jewel decorations within the pink part.
The Hyper Melody Takt (ハイパーメロディタクト Haipaa Merodi Takuto) is much bigger than the original Melody Takt. It is pink seashell-liked takt with a yellow circle at the top and a flower in the middle.

The Melody Takt has several functions throughout the series.
Onegai My Melody
In the first season, My Melody produces sticker with a heart called a Melody Mark using her Takt in order to make an inanimate object come to life. She can also stick it to a being who is unconscious such as Flat and Baku. If the object or person affected by the Melody Mark fails at the given task by My Melody, My Melody will then smile at it sweetly and say, "[...] Onegai?" ("[...] Please?") which will cause the power of the affected enchanted object to intensify, sometimes also making them increase in size. However this power has limitations on how big of an object it can be used on, in Episode 36 to stop the destruction of Earth, Uta Yumeno powers up the Melody Takt by singing, this state of the Takt makes it possible to apply a Melody mark onto the rabbit on the moon and save the Earth.
~Kuru Kuru Shuffle~
In the second season, she does the same, only that she will summon the characters that are in the card randomly using the Melody Compact. In the same season, when it becomes the Hyper Melody Takt, she must recite a tongue twister as the spell, if she does this successfully, two cards will summon at once, if she messes up, only one card is summoned. In the third season, she will use the Melody Crayons to draw a character she wished onto a card and insert it into the takt.
